Some men do say King Arthur is not dead,
    But by the will of our Lord Jesu sleeps,
        Yet to awake, deathless, and reassure us:
And therefore is it, that grave where he is laid
    This legend hath, that still his kingdom keeps:
         Arthurus Rex Quondam, Rexque Futurus.
