Leslie Fly was a house composer for Forsyth Bros. Ltd. in the early 1920s.  Fly's compositions were marked by literary themes (Arthurian pieces for the pianoforte, pieces based on Robin Hood, etc) and were often intended to be used for teaching purposes.  Little information is readily available on Fly's life.  A wedding announcement from August of 1957 marks the union of Fly's daughter to Fraser Richards and establishes Fly's residence as Bickley, Kent.  A 1926 Times of London review of a play called "Hugh the Drover" establishes Fly as the music master of the Caterham School during roughly the same period that he composed for Forsyth.
